GULLY MODELING FOR FOREST RECLAMATION PURPOSES
- Land Reclamation, Recultivation, and Land Protection
The article deals with the calculation of stability and strength of the new kind of wind power plants (WPP) intended for power supply of small agricultural enterprises, electrification and mechanization of rural hydraulic facilities. Its main difference from known designs is the combination of classical wind gear and air pressure components, made as a turbine and placed inside the pipe construction which rotates the common generator by freewheeling clutch. Based on the conducted research, it was established earlier that the common use of three anchor line at an angle of 120 degrees is not suitable for providing stability of such constructions because the lines are the main obstacle to the classical wind gear of scoop type. Thereby the objective of the research is to calculate parameters of such a pipe construction which provide the required stability and strength without using anchor lines. To achieve the objective, method for structural dynamic simulating for weather conditions in the Rostov region was used. As a result, a model for calculating the construction of this type of WPP is presented. Using the model, parameters of the elements providing stability and strength of the given construction for normal and extreme operation regimes were determined. Simulating results for normal and extreme operation of WPP in the Rostov region have shown that to provide stability of pipe construction, anchor lines in three points according to the scheme presented in the article should still be used.
