IDENTIFICATION OF DEPENDENCIES OF MINERALIZATION FROM ION COMPOSITION OF DRAINAGE-WASTEWATER DISCHARGES ON RIGHT BANK OF WEST MANYCH

Annotation

The aim of research is to establish dependences between the ion composition of drainage-wastewater runoff and general mineralization to determine the specific values of the parameters studied to help identify the source of pollutants. The timeliness of the work lies in detection of the possibility for identifying dependencies, allowing to distinguish to a high degree of accuracy between responsibility of water users engaged in wastewater discharges from irrigated areas of the right bank of the West Manych. As a result of studies correlations between total mineralization and major ions in discharges are determined. They are specific for the drainage-wastewater runoff formed within the territorial geomorphologic units – in the floodplain on the first and second terraces of the right bank of the river West Manych, with a typical lythological section, hydrochemical conditions and soil cover. For soil water extracts and stagnant groundwater relationship between the characteristics of the chemical composition is weaker, that can be explained by the lack of water mixing or homogenization of soil on the territory in question. It was noted during investigation that regularities in general content of dissolved salts and ions in the wastewater collectors are weaker than in separate groups of in-farm drains. The use of identifying dependencies in practice will allow developing common requirements for the organization of pollution runoff dynamics assessment and obtaining reliable information on the territorial finding of sources of polluting substances.
