THE CALCULATION ALGORITHM FOR RATE OF FERTILIZER APPLICATION IN PRECISION FARMING

Annotation

The aim of the work was to develop agro-complex planning algorithms on the basis of which it is possible to develop software used in precision farming to optimize mineral nutrition, and develop software for calculating the norms of liquid organic fertilizers with their differentiated application along with mineral fertilizers. In the course of the work the main agricultural crops grown under irrigation in Rostov region were selected. The algorithms for planning a set of measures for these crops that allow automation of the selection of their cultivation technology elements have been developed. On their basis, the opportunity to create agro-complex algorithms for other crops and to automate the correct decision-making for their cultivation has grown. Taking these algorithms as a basis, the program for calculating fertilizer doses for programmable yield was developed. When developing planning algorithms and creating a program for calculating fertilizer doses, a method based on indicators of soil diagnostics was used, which implies bringing the content of mobile nutrients in soil to the optimum level. At present, the developed program is an independent and isolated fragment of a complex of developing measures for monitoring agrobiocenoses and prompt response to negative changes or the need for vital elements of agricultural crops. The further development of the theme will allow real-time monitoring of agrobiocenoses for nutrients in soil and to apply differentiated doses of mineral fertilizers on each micro-site using the developed software, if necessary, in a short period of time, taking into account the real needs of the cultivated crop.
