GULLY MODELING FOR FOREST RECLAMATION PURPOSES
- Land Reclamation, Recultivation, and Land Protection
The aim of the work was to evaluate the reliability indicators of “Fregat” used in farms of the Rostov region. The following parameters were evaluated: the mean time to failure, the probability of failure-free operation, the failure flow parameter, failure rate, standard deviation, variation and asymmetry coefficients of the universe general population. To achieve this goal the analysis of the main faults of sprinkling machine “Frågat” for which the failure distribution law due to wear was set has been conducted. An example of reliability indicators calculation of the distributor valve (DM-06.110) with graph plotting is given: failure frequency distribution, the distribution density of time between failures, developments to failure, theoretical and empirical dependence of probability of failure-free operation on the operational duration, as well as the danger of failure. According to Pearson's fitting criterion the hypothesis of a normal distribution time between failures for a given level of significance and the number of degrees of freedom was confirmed. The studies found out that the valve distributor (DM-06.110) (stock wear), the control valve (DM-06.240) (failure in connection with the work in the aquatic environment), carts speed control valve (DM-06.160) (loss of the spring elasticity), the hydraulic protective system (DM-06.010) (attrition and loss of polyethylene pipe integrity) have the lowest reliability. After 1000 hours of the sprinkler operation its reliability practically becomes equal to zero, because by this time the probability of failure of the cart speed control valve and a control valve is equal to one. The results of the DMU “Fregat” elements reliability studies will determine the need for spare parts, to plan their maintenance and make the necessary adjustments in water use schedule.
