PRODUCTIVITY OF MAN-MACHINE SYSTEM HARVESTING GRAIN CROPS AND THE PARAMETERS OF HUMAN-OPERATOR

Annotation

The aim of the study is to determine motivational characteristics and the level of operator training when he works at the edge of given parameters of man-machine system. It is established that physiological reliability of an operator has no less significant impact on the use efficiency of harvester than reliability of a mechanical subsystem. It is marked that one of the main points of training and professional development of a combine operator is to determine the adequacy of personal properties and work performed. Five objectively existing psychological personality types of machine operators working in crop production were revealed. The research results show that socio-psychological relation of workers to the profession of machine operator, conditions and working regimes, actually prevailing microclimate in a team is varied. Labor productivity of man-machine system harvesting grain crops mainly depends on the parameters of a human-operator. The study conducted and data obtained are far from exhausting the issues involved. For a more complete disclosure it is necessary to carry out detailed research for the profession of a combine operator, then apply to the main professions of the agricultural industry, and develop recommended list of terms for classification of personality types working in the agricultural industry.

Keywords: agricultural industry, grain crop harvesting, man-machine system, productivity, human-operator, classification of personality types.
