UP-TO-DATE TECHNOLOGICAL PROCESSES FOR CATTLE MANURE UTILIZATION

Annotation

The aim of study is to review existing technologies for cattle manure utilization and develop technology for recycling manure in high quality concentrated organic fertilizer. Analyzing existing technologies for cattle manure utilization we revealed such limitations as pollution of the environment and low economic efficiency. Ecological safe low cost energy saving technology for recycling solid and semi liquid cattle manure into high quality concentrated organic fertilizer using the method of accelerated microbiological composting is developed. The base of the compost is the artificial microscopic systems of soil forming centers, which activity preserves in soils for 30 years in laboratory conditions and for 5 years in field conditions. During accelerated composting, the key role belongs to α-addition, which heating manure mass up to 70 °Ñ accelerating the composting, decontaminating and terminating weed seeds. The developed technology was applied at the closed cycle cattle farms of agricultural production at the cooperative “Kolos”, Matveyev Kurgan district, the Rostov region, what enables to increase profitability of plant growing at that cooperative. Applying of the fertilizers made by the developed technology increased the profitability of spring barley, sunflower, winter wheat, and corn for grain. Applying solid concentrated organic fertilizers increased the profitability by 22.1 % (the profitability was 121.4 %) and applying liquid concentrated organic fertilizers increased the profitability by 47.4 % (the profitability was 146.8 %).
