OPTIMIZATION OF A SPRINKLING MACHINE OPERATION WITHIN A FRAMEWORK OF SEVERAL IRRIGATED PLOTS

Annotation

The aim of the work was to optimize the sprinkler operation in several irrigated plots taking into account the conditions of transportation between positions. The methods used by N. P. Bredikhin and T. I. Il’inova are used in calculating free and working movements of the sprinkler in different positions. Optimization of the sprinkler operation through the use of automation systems, such as the position sensor of the machine, soil moisture sensors and the engine that regulates the speed of the last carriage, increases the speed of movement of carts across sectors, eliminating the machine stoppage during irrigation, which makes the process continuous and reduces idle action of the car. When moving the sprinkler between the hydrants from the side of the central support the reduction of idling will be 17.9 %. In the second variant, the work of the machine in three positions is presented: reduction of idling when moving from the side of the central support will be 19.5 %, and from the side of the central support and the cantilever it will be 19.3 %. The third version shows the results of the machine in four positions. From the central support, the calculated idling speed will be reduced by 25.7 %, from the central support and the cantilever part – by 21.6 %. The results of the study allow to determine the optimum mode of sprinkler operation when using various technological schemes, as well as at the design stage to evaluate the efficiency of the sprinkler with different schemes of movement from position to position.
