HUMIC PREPARATION IMPACT ON THE STRUCTURAL STATE AND BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITY OF ORDINARY CARBONATE CHERNOZEM IN DYNAMICS

Annotation

The aim of the research was to study the effect of humic preparation, obtained as a result of vermicomposting, on the macroaggregate composition of ordinary carbinate chernozem under winter wheat under conditions of intensive chemicalization of agricultural production. It was found that humic preparations irrespective of application method (presowing treatment of seeds, application into soil, processing of plants by the vegetation phases of, combination of these methods) have a positive effect on the state of agronomically valuable structure. It is important that the periodic tendency to the structural state indicators lowering in the variants with the humic preparation is smoothed out, it is not traced as clearly as against the background, so that to the maturing phase both the structural coefficients and the content of waterproof aggregates are higher than in the background version by statistically significant value. At the same time, biological activity of soil was monitored by such factors as the activity of catalase and invertase enzymes and the number of major groups of microorganisms. The data of laboratory analyzes showed that humic preparations promote the growth of enzymatic activity and the number of microorganisms, especially those important groups for forming the structure, such as ammonifiers, cellulose-destroying micromycetes and actinomycetes. This makes it possible to conclude that the humates obtained as a result of biocomposting have a stimulating effect on the biological activity of soil, and this is one of the reasons for the positive dynamics of soil structural state.
Key words: humic preparations, ordinary carbonate chernozem, soil structure, soil water resistance assessment, organo-clay particles, microorganisms, cellulose-decomposing micromycete, invertase activity.
