GULLY MODELING FOR FOREST RECLAMATION PURPOSES
- Land Reclamation, Recultivation, and Land Protection
The purpose of the research is the justification of the agrolandscapes sustainable development based on land reclamation in the south of Russia. The crop rotation groups for agrolandscapes with an irrigation system within the three natural and economic zones of Krasnodar Territory (northern, central, southern foothill) were developed with economic and mathematical modeling methods, the integrated indicators and conditions for the formation of sustainable agrolandscapes were scientifically substantiated. The methodological approach to the sustainable land use models justification with the use of crop rotation groups and the implementation of reclamation measures was applied using the following indicators: kinds and yields indices of cultivated crops; coefficients of equity participation of each crop in the crop rotation; agro-technical unit costs associated with irrigation; in-farm costs data (transport and logistics costs, specific capital costs for land reclamation) and out-of-budget expenses of agricultural enterprises. The optimization model of agroeconomic activity was substantiated as a result of the study, a balanced biologized farming system was applied; proposals on securing the sustainable development of agricultural landscapes in agricultural areas using crop rotation groups and irrigated agriculture were made.
