GULLY MODELING FOR FOREST RECLAMATION PURPOSES
- Land Reclamation, Recultivation, and Land Protection
The aim of this study is to create of theoretical base for the prevention of soil erosion in recreational forests. It was found that recreational loads and creation of tourist objects increases soil erosion and in the forest. Relaxing super loads cause shredding of components forest litter, as well as their movement down the slope. Addition to destroying the forest litter there is a deterioration of soil properties (increases density, reduced porosity). When go rain showers, reduced absorption intensity of rainfall and increases surface runoff. Soil erosion enhanced by provided that increases the steepness of the slopes and impact of tourists on the forest. Device tourist facilities dismember forests into segments of various sizes (fragmentation). In these cases, soil erosion is activated within the borders of fragmentation (ski runs other lifts and other routes). In addition, erosion increases the soil disturbance during the construction of tourism facilities. Control of recreational load provides a warning of soil erosion. Activities of erosion control are necessary to strengthen within the lines of fragmentation.
