The new methodology for the assessment of economic effect from using the mobile device for channel cleaning considering effects in production, social and ecological spheres was developed. The comparative analysis of applicable methodologies for economic effect calculation resulted in the necessity for accounting an ecological factor for profit forming and longevity of the mobile device based on its warranty period. While economic effect calculating, the author proposes to assume the role of bank credits, using such economic activities as net present value, yield index, internal rate of return, payback period, and time factor. The author also offers to use the cadastral value of local lands upon the determination of income from the use of scoured sediments for land reclamation. In addition, it is proposed to demarcate the efficiency from using of mobile device between the national economy and commercial attractiveness for executors of the channel cleaning project. While assessing the economic efficiency of mobile device operating at artificial and natural channels, it is proposed to account the differences in profit forming assuming the price of water.
