GEOMETRY FEATURES OF SCREW CUTTERBAR

Annotation

The paper considers the principle of the screw cutterbar of a clipper. The attention pays on construction and fabrication method. The objective of this work is to reveal the main geometry features of the given screw cutterbar, without those it is technologically impossible to fulfill the rational design and production. The methodology for calculating the main geometry and technological features of the screw catterbar is geven. During the implementation of the objective the layout of the screw cutterbar is cited. The loft of coil of cylindrical helix and its mathematical formulation are presented. The formula for determine the helix lead of the screw is offered. The formula for determine the differential of the length of one coil of the screw cutterbar considering its radius, rotary speed, and helix lead was obtained. The methodology for calculating the nesting pattern of the coil of tape screw using iron sheet is presented. The materials stated in this paper are intended for calculation the geometry features of the screw operative parts during their design and production.
