ENERGY-EFFICIENT UTILIZATION OF ATMOSPHERIC PRECIPITATION FROM URBANIZED TERRITORIES

Annotation

The article considers the developed device for utilization of atmospheric precipitation from the roofs of buildings in urban areas. Recycling is accompanied by the development of the electric power, to be allocated in the future to the production of effective oxidant – sodium hypochlorite. In addition it is proposed the use of a slag waste as a sorbent. The application of this sorbent is expected in filter wells of this device, which will enable to improve the quality of water purification . Collected and purified water may be used for domestic purposes, which allows to save water of drinking quality. The use of this device will also reduce the degree of pollution of the water sources and prevent gradual destruction of the elements of the socle and foundation of the buildings.
