In the paper the prospects of use of energy resources of production cycles of power plants are proved. It is the effective line of development of the energy saving technologies, allowing making the wide range of products. Domestic and foreign experience of nitrogen fertilizer production on various technologies is analyzed. Possibility of production of a range of nitrogen fertilizers and raw materials for manufacturing of ameliorants under condition of a pplication of power effective technologies is considered. It is proved that increase of economic and ecological indicators of a number of technological processes occurs upon using carbon dioxide from smoke gases of power plants and utilization of large-capacity industry wastes. The energy saving direction offered in the paper is focused on satisfaction of social requirements for the food and healthier habitat which are the conditions of ensuring national security of our country.
