EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS OF JET DEVICE SET UP BEFORE WORK WHEEL OF AXIAL FLOW PUMP

Annotation

The experimental research of jet device, axial flow pump with recirculation line is considered in this article. The factors that have significant influence on process outcome are pointed out. The plan-matrix of final experiment is given, the method of processing the results of research are presented. Response surfaces analysis using two-dimensional cross-sections method to estimate the impact of each factor on the efficiency of processes in the installation is done. To study the complex influence of factors on the type of response surfaces developed by equation with fixed values of one of the factors the equation describing the process within the examined limits and representing its model adequately is obtained. The usage of this proposal to activate the water flow into the pump suction line with the recirculation line of the main pump will have a wide application in water intakes with fluctuating water levels in the offseason period.
