TECHNOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF MANURE RECYCLING IN A HIGH-QUALITY ORGANIC FERTILIZER FOR CROP PRODUCTION

Annotation

The objective of the paper was to develop the technological scheme of manure recycling for the module farm for a hundred head of milk cows. The project of module farm for a hundred head of milk cows is intended for the low cost ecological technology of milk production at the small scale farms. The milk farm is presented a closed system for milk and manure production, it comprises such modules: administrative, feed-preparing, main (for stock keeping), milking and manufacturing (for concentrated organic fertilizer preparing). The outcome of litter manure from the module farm for a hundred head of milk cows is more than 2600 t/yr. The module of the farm for concentrated organic fertilizer preparing has the productivity more than 2200 t/yr. The developed technological scheme for concentrated organic fertilizer production comprises transportation of solid organic fertilizers form a storage site, grinding, disinfection and enrichment by the α-addition in a bioreactor, accumulation, separation, transportation and applying to the field or storage. For surface applying of the fertilizer it is recommended to use the machine for mineral fertilizer applying of ÐÓÌ (ÌÂÓ) type. The recommended wind speed for the surface fertilizer applying is 5-7 m/sec, at the wind speed 7-12 m/sec – by using the specific wind-protective device designed by AzovBlack Sea State Agroengineering Academy. It was established that the loss of the organic matter and nitrogen from the solid organic fertilizer at different storage methods reached up to 12-33 % and 11-31 %, respectively. The biggest losses were observed by the aerobic storage. The fertilizing efficiency for applying the super fertilizer of the brand “Àãðîâèò-Êîð” (Agrovit-Kor) is 20-80 times higher than for the others organic fertilizers and 3-5 times higher than for mineral fertilizers. The rate of application for grains is 0.5-1.0 t/ha, for vegetables – 1.0-3.0 t/ha, for potato – 3.3 t/ha. Under production conditions an average of three years yield increasing for grains was from 10 to 14.7 t/ha.
