CALCULATION OF THE OPERATION PARAMETERS OF THE MOBILE DEVICE FOR CHANNEL CLEANING

Annotation

On the basis of experimental research data the performance calculation of the developed by the author mobile flushing device for channel cleaning of natural and artificial streams is proposed in the paper. The objective of the study is to obtain the data for operation of the mobile device in the specific working conditions. For the calculation the data about granulometric composition of the deposits have to be available. The scour of the deposits is provided by the formation of the hydraulic jump in the downstream. The calculation is made step-by-step. At the first step on the basis of experimental research data the following parameters are determined: bù / Hïð – the main constructive parameter of the device; discharge coefficient, design height of the device, water-discharge slot width, actual pressure in the center of gravity of the water-discharge slot. Then the length of the scour of the deposits is ascertained by the determination of the type of reach conjugation and the calculation of the parameters of a hydraulic jump: the length of displacement of a hydraulic jump, the length of a hydraulic jump, the length of the section after the jump. At the next step the ways of flow saturation by the scouring particles of the deposits are detected and the actual turbidity of the flushing flow created by the scour of the deposits at the flushing section is calculated. After that the volume of scouring deposits in unit time and the velocity of the device movement along the stream of watercourse are calculated. In connection with the increasing of the downstream depth due to the forming of a ground bank looking like a dune, on the basis of monitoring data for the angle of the surface of the water-discharge slot the need of changing of the flushing regime or its maintenance is determined. The obtained data allow getting the production characteristics of the mobile device for the specific stream cleaning: V=f (Q ïðîì) ; Q ðàçì. íàí. = f (Q ïðîì); Q ðàçì. íàí./Q ïðîì=f(Vóñò.) . On the basis of these characteristics the operating control of the device at different production situations is carried out.
