WAYS OF INCREASING THE EFFICIENCY OF JET DREDGE SYSTEM IN AMELIORATIVE CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY (OVERVIEW)

Annotation

The paper considers the necessity of refining ameliorative objects from deposits and weed vegetation during the construction process and operation as well. The role of hydromechanization by dredgers is described. Limitations of centrifugal dredgers are described and guidelines for using hydraulic dredgers are given. Specification of jet and hydrojet dredgers produced by foreign states is cited. Specification was consisted by using data collected by the laboratory of hydromechanization of Saint Petersburg State University of Water Communications.
