WATER EROSION CONTROL IN CROP ROTATIONS ON HILLSLOPE LANDS

Annotation

In the issue of the conducted study in 2006-2011 it was revealed that use of the soil conservation tillage decreased the surface runoff in crop rotation with 40 % of perennial grasses and without bare fallow. Maximum water permeability was recorded on the winter wheat fields where the deep tillage was applied after the harvesting. Soil conservation tillage allows reducing the runoff and washing losses of nutritive elements and fertilizes required for reclaiming soil fertility. In crop rotation with 40 % of perennial grasses and without bare fallow those losses are smaller than in crop rotation with 20 % of bare fallow and without perennial grasses.
