GULLY MODELING FOR FOREST RECLAMATION PURPOSES
- Land Reclamation, Recultivation, and Land Protection
The results of researching into the effect of drip irrigation on soil properties are presented in the paper. An accumulation of water-soluble salts, and the saturation of the soil absorbing complex exchange sodium by the influence of irrigation water with chloridesulphate-sodium consistency (Cl-SO4²-Na) at the end of irrigation season was established. The atmospheric precipitation enables the decreasing of content of exchange cations particularly absorbed sodium during the winter period. In spring period the content of water soluble sodium salts increases in water extract (ratio soil:water 1:5) causing alkalinity increase.
