The aim of the work is to develop the methodology for calculating and correcting the agricultural crops irrigation schedule for different agro-climatic conditions with the developed software, allowing computerizing and increasing the processes of calculations and the irrigation regimes correction. The research objectives were: to summarize and analyze the peculiarities of crops water consumption under different agro-climatic conditions; to create algorithms for calculating and adjusting irrigation regime; to calculate bioclimatic coefficients of water consumption and other factors for different conditions of heat and moisture provision and to develop software using them to calculate the irrigation schedule. The novelty of the research is to develop software that helps to computerize and accelerate the calculating and correcting processes of irrigation schedules. An overview of the most common calculation methods for determining the terms of irrigation and water use Alpatiev A. M. and S. M., Lgov G. K., Ivanov N. N., Danilchenko N. V., Penman Ks. L., Turk L. and Blaney Kh. F. – Kriddl V. D. that allow to calculate daily evaporation for different cultures is given. The most accurate method of determining evaporation by Ivanov N. N.’s formula in Danilchenko N. V. modification on the basis of the initial moisture reserves in soil and daily meteorological data (rainfall, relative air humidity, temperature, wind speed, radiation, etc.) with the use of bioclimatic coefficients of water consumption, specified for Rostov, Volgograd and Ryazan regions is offered. The calculation and correcting algorithms of irrigation schedule and software to calculate the terms of irrigation, which will allow to conduct an operational adjustment of irrigation scheduling and norms with irrigation water savings are suggested.
