INNOVATIVE DESIGN OF RECLAMATION PLOW FOR INCREASING SOIL FERTILITY WHILE TILLAGE

Annotation

The aim of research is the development of an innovative design of a deep chisel cultivator plow for basic soil cultivation, which allows plowing and application of organic fertilizers and various ameliorants in plough layer simultaneously. Based on the methods of analysis of existing structures and their synthesis, a plow with a chisel ripper behind its body for dumping the soil designed to increase the plough layer depth and to destruct the plow sole has been developed that has a complex agrotechnical meliorative effect. The chisel ripper is equipped with a fertilizer pipe line for ameliorants application into the subsoil horizon, which ensures soil fertility increase. The chisel ripper has a spring shock absorber in the form of compression springs and a shock absorber made of elastic material to reduce the traction resistance. For pressure feeding of ameliorants into the sub-plow layer deep chisel fertilizer cultivator plow is equipped with a dispenser and a high-pressure fan. Using the developed design, particularly on irrigated cultivated lands of the dry steppe zone of the Lower Volga region, by increasing the effective moisture reserves by 10–30 % will contribute to the increase in the of agricultural crops yield by 12–14 %, the increase in the content of mineral nutrients in the plough layer to 20 %, the density reduction of sub-plough layers by 10–12 %, flow intensity of combustive and lubricating materials (due to the combination of operations) to 20 %, the increase in the complex criterion of energy efficiency to 15 %.
