REQUIREMENTS FOR DATABASE STRUCTURE AND FUNCTIONALITY OF THE RECLAMATION SYSTEMS AND HYDRAULIC STRUCTURES

Annotation

Purpose: to analyze research on the use of digital technologies for irrigation systems, the results of which can be used in formulating requirements for the structure and functionality of database for reclamation systems and hydraulic structures.

Discussion. An analysis of existing digital solutions for the reclamation industry showed that they are primarily focused on calculations at the level of agricultural producers and do not provide a visual display of the obtained data, georeference, or interactive communication with the user. Most developments are focused on in-farm planning, while the level of systems and operating organizations is not presented in sufficient detail. Examples with object visualization are not always convenient for calculations. Database should be reliable, easy-to-use, and scalable. At the initial stage, the recorded objects are determined, including elements of reclamation systems: linear (canals) and point (pumping stations, water outlets), as well as land areas and environmental parameters. Each object is classified according to various criteria and contains data on its name, type, status, characteristics, location, owner, and other information. The database structure is designed to integrate spatial and attribute data, track changes over time, and normalize information. Database functionality should support data entry, editing, and storage, report generation, decision support, analytical capabilities, data import from GIS, integration with Earth remote sensing systems, and exchange with enterprise resource planning systems.

Conclusions. Developing a product that combines visualization, interactive communication, and the ability to execute user queries and calculations is relevant.
