GULLY MODELING FOR FOREST RECLAMATION PURPOSES
- Land Reclamation, Recultivation, and Land Protection
The purpose of research is to formulate a set of basic requirements for the development of drainage runoff disposal systems from irrigated lands, which is proposed to be considered as a technological process implemented within the planned time period and providing with the help of technical and techno-natural objects the fulfillment of the following operations in the required set and combination: transportation, accumulation, treatment and exploitation of proper drainage runoff and its processing products. At the same time the process development of drainage water disposal is focused on the prior use of renewable sources of energy. The methodological basis of research is a systematic approach as to interrelation of developed basic requirements with the components of technological process, which are expressed by means of conceptual-categorical invariant. In the process of research the purpose and goals of drainage runoff disposal systems are identified, the basic terms describing this process as well as their definitions are presented. As a result of the system analysis of the process of drainage runoff disposal from irrigated lands the basic requirements for establishing a drainage runoff disposal system comprising nine components of technological process expressed by the following research categories have been determined: technology, staff, resources, environment, management, information, model, time, product. The research results can be applied to improve the regulatory and methodological support of reclamation facilities design, namely, in development of branch construction norms and (or) industry standard “Land reclamation systems and facilities. Drainage on the irrigated lands. Design standards of drainage runoff systems disposal”.
Keywords: drainage of irrigated land, drainage runoff, drainage runoff disposal process, technology, technology components, the basic requirements for development.
