GULLY MODELING FOR FOREST RECLAMATION PURPOSES
- Land Reclamation, Recultivation, and Land Protection
The aim of research was to study the action spectrum of different herbicides and their mixtures, as well as the assessment of their biological, economic and cost effectiveness on t pea plants. The experimental design included nine variants of herbicides and their mixtures, as well as the control (excluding herbicides): 1) “Agritoks” – 0,7 l/ha; 2) “Bazagryan” – 2,5 l/ha; 3) “Gerbitoks” – 0,7 l/ha; 4) “Gezagard” (before sprouting) – 2,5 l/ha; 5) “Gezagard” (before sprouting) – 2,5 l/ha + “Agritoks” – 0,7 l/ha; 6) “Bazagryan” – 1,5 l/ha+ “Agritox” – 0,5 l/ha; 7) “Agritoks” – 0,7 l/ha + “Fyuzilad Forte” – 1,0 l/ha; 8) “Agritoks” – 0,7 l/ha + “Fyuzilad Forte” – 1,0 l/ha (tank mixture); 9) “Fyuzilad Forte” – 1,2 l/ha; 10) control (without the use of herbicides). The plot crop acreage is 480 square meters, the plot declared area is 88 square meters, replication is threefold, and the plot arrangement is systematic. The weed species inventory was carried out by quantitative method based on permanent declared areas. The test results showed that the maximum value of stored output yield was received by the option with preemergence application of the soil herbicide “Gezagard” followed by “Agritoks”. This variant of the experiment provided the complete culture protection from dicotyledonous and grass weed plants for the whole growing season and yield increase to control 10.1 c/ha, or 142.3 %. The results of cost-effectiveness analyses of herbicides application on peas demonstrated that the maximum profit ratio was obtained by separate application of “Agritoks” at a rate of 0.7 l/ha and “Fyuzilada Forte” (1.0 l/ha). Net income in this experiment option was 6680 ruble/ha with profitability of 325.9 %. The results of these studies have shown that high yields of pea plants in the conditions of the Rostov region are impossible without herbicides. At the same time, the use of plant protection products must have a reliable scientific basis, which is impossible without taking into consideration sensitivity of weeds to active herbicides fractions.
Key words: pea plants, weeds, herbicides, crop yield, efficiency.
